Our team

Henry Sun
Co-founder + Chief Executive Officer
M.Econ, B.Eng
With years of experience in strategic planning, stakeholder management, debt and equity advisory to PCC, Henry was the former Director of Asian Markets in Institutional Banking and Markets at Commonwealth Bank of Australian and is the Chair of the Hydrogen Energy Research Centre advisory committee, and advisory board member for the Smart Future Research Centre; a joint initiative between PCC and University of Technology Sydney.

Alan Yu
Co-founder + Chief Investment Officer
MBA, M.Fin, B.Acc
A qualified CPA with experience in corporate finance, banking and investment, Alan has delivered complex transactions across broad industry segments, with specialist investment expertise in technology, innovation and renewable energy assets. He has proven experience assisting companies’ growth strategies through capital raising, trade acquisitions and pre-IPO processes. He is the Director of Industry Relations for the Hydrogen Energy Research Centre.

Stuart Johnson
Chief Operating Officer
MA, M.Sc.Tech, B.Eng, MAICD
With over 20 years building and leading high-performance teams in complex, high-risk industries, Stuart ensures business performance is aligned to its strategic objectives across all disciplines. Credentialed with a CPEng in Leadership and Management, Aerospace and Mechanical areas of practice, he is adept at getting to the heart of complex issues rapidly. His experience encompasses operations, asset management, engineering, HSEQ and general management.

Jean-Paul da Costa
Head of Capital Transactions
M.Sc.Eng, B.Sc.Eng
With 20 years in the institutional investment banking space, Jean Paul’s investment strategies are backed by extensive experience and an impressive track record. He headed up one of the largest portfolios in the investment banking arm of South Africa’s largest bank by market cap, RMB. He has also held senior management roles at RMB Westport, Gowing Bros (ASX LIC) and EG Funds.

Natalie Brooke
Head of Investor Relations
B.Bus, B.Comms
An expert in the global institutional investment space, Natalie leads in new market entry programs, corporate and client communications, product marketing, and digital platforms. Natalie was the General Manager of Marketing and Communications for Queensland Investment Corporation. She was also the Head of Marketing and Communications for FTSE Group in Australia, and has held various media relations and communications roles at M&G Investment Management in London.
Advisory Board
Trevor Armstrong
Trevor has over 30 years’ experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors and is an advisory member of the UNSW Dean’s Engineering Board and Chairman of CIGRE Australia Pty Ltd. He was the Energy Networks Australia representative on the Australian Energy Market Commission Reliability Panel, and a member of the International Utilities Working Group of mega cities for over 10 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
Simon Corbell
Simon has more than 20 years of senior experience in public policy leadership, governance, and program implementation. He is the Board Chair and CEO of the Clean Energy Investor Group and advises the clean energy advisory and accelerator business Energy Estate. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra, a patron of the Smart Energy Council and a non-executive director of the Climate Council. He is an advisory Board Member – Battery Storage and grid Integration Program of the Australian National University.
Ted Surette
Ted brings 33 years of experience with KPMG’s Australian, Canadian and Luxembourg practices in governance, managerial and client leadership roles. He has extensive experience in advising both the private and public sector on technology transformation, transaction due diligence, and risk management. He is a board advisory member of the Hydrogen Energy Research Centre. Ted is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada.
